Set in an idyllic village on the edge of The Lake District, this large property originally consisted of 2 smaller cottages which have been combined to create a large family dwelling, including a lean-to conservatory extension which suffered from the typical problems of overheating in the summer and being too cold to use in the winter.

The current owners appointed IGB Architectural Design to remodel the property including the replacement of the modern conservatory with a vastly more thermally efficient and characterful design to provide an extended practical open-plan family kitchen and dining area that would take advantage of the stunning views available over the fells towards The Lake District along with other internal alterations such as several expanded bedrooms with en-suites.
